Job Title: Accountant


Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support statutory compliance. The role involves handling accounting entries, reconciliations, reporting, and coordination with internal teams and auditors.


Key Responsibilities


1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

 Maintain accurate books of accounts including journal entries, ledger posting, and vouchers.

 Record sales, purchase, expense, and bank transactions.

 Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.


2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

 Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.

 Track customer receivables and follow up for collections.

 Perform vendor and customer reconciliation.


3. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation

 Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly.

 Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

4. Taxation & Compliance

 Assist in GST return preparation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).

 Support TDS calculations, deductions, and filings.

 Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.


5. Financial Reporting

 Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

 Support preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

 Provide data and documents required for audits.


6. Audit & Coordination

 Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities.

 Support internal and external audit processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree /Masters degree in Accounting, or Finance.

 Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards.

 Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation concepts.

 Should have prior internship experience in finance.

 Proficiency in MS Excel.

 Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

 Good communication and coordination skills.
