Job Title: Accountant
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support statutory compliance. The role involves handling accounting entries, reconciliations, reporting, and coordination with internal teams and auditors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts including journal entries, ledger posting, and vouchers.
Record sales, purchase, expense, and bank transactions.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
Track customer receivables and follow up for collections.
Perform vendor and customer reconciliation.
3. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation
Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Assist in GST return preparation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
Support TDS calculations, deductions, and filings.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
5. Financial Reporting
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
Provide data and documents required for audits.
6. Audit & Coordination
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree /Masters degree in Accounting, or Finance.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation concepts.
Should have prior internship experience in finance.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
