Architect

Krafts is a design-driven contracting company building beautiful, functional spaces. We're looking for a talented Interior Designer/Architect to join our growing team and help bring client visions to life.

We're seeking a mid-level Interior Designer/Architect to lead design concepts, space planning, and project execution from concept to completion, working closely with clients, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

- Develop design concepts, layouts, and mood boards based on client briefs and budgets

- Create detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings using CAD/BIM software

- Select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures within project scope and budget

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed correctly

- Prepare presentations and mockups for client approval

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve on-site design issues

- Stay current with design trends, materials, and sustainable practices

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar design software

- Strong portfolio showcasing commercial projects

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods

Nice to Have

- Experience with Revit or other BIM tools

- Familiarity with sustainable/green design practices

- Prior experience in a design studio or architecture firm
