Automotive Service Advisor

LION MOBILITY- We are Authorized Main Dealer for Montra Electric who manufacture Electric Three Wheeler Passenger Auto.

 Job Role

Customer Service and Consultation:

·       Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and conduct initial assessments to understand service needs.

·       Provide expert advice and recommendations on maintenance services, repairs, warranties, and service packages based on vehicle diagnostics and manufacturer guidelines.

Appointment Scheduling and Coordination:

·       Schedule service appointments for customers, allocate service bays, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.

·       Communicate service timelines, estimated costs, and service updates to customers throughout the service process.

Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis:

·       Conduct vehicle inspections, perform diagnostic tests, and identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues requiring repair or maintenance.

·       Collaborate with technicians and service teams to prioritize and schedule repairs based on urgency and customer preferences.

Service Quoting and Pricing:

·       Prepare service quotes, estimates, and invoices for customers, detailing recommended services, parts, labor costs, and warranty coverage.

·       Explain pricing, service options, and service packages to customers, answer questions, and address any concerns or objections.

Parts and Inventory Management:

·       Order and procure necessary parts, components, and materials for vehicle repairs and maintenance services.

·       Maintain accurate inventory records, track parts usage, and ensure availability of required parts for service appointments.

Customer Communication and Follow-up:

·       Keep customers informed about service progress, completion status, and any additional repairs or recommendations discovered during service.

·       Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction, address any issues, and promote ongoing customer loyalty.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

·       Ensure quality standards, safety protocols, and manufacturer guidelines are followed during vehicle repairs and maintenance.

·       Maintain compliance with dealership policies, service procedures, regulatory requirements, and warranty guidelines.

Qualification

·       diploma or equivalent; Proven experience in customer service, automotive service advising, or related roles within the automotive industry.

·       Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, diagnostics, and repair processes.

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.

·       Proficiency in computer software for scheduling, invoicing, and service documentation (e.g., dealership management system, CRM software).

·       Familiarity with warranty programs, service contracts, and automotive service standards.

Note: Candidate requires a combination of technical knowledge, customer service skills, and organizational abilities to ensure efficient and customer-focused service operations. Service Advisors play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction, building trust, and promoting repeat business in the service department.
