Role OverviewThe CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to manufacture precision components in line with engineering drawings and quality standards. The role involves close coordination with design, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient machining operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, Fusion 360, or equivalent)
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
• Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies
• Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, and quality output
• Conduct prove-out trials and first-piece inspections
• Modify and troubleshoot CNC programs during production
• Collaborate with CNC operators, tool room, and quality teams for process improvements
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and AS9100 standards
• Maintain program documentation and revision control
• Required QualificationsDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and CNC machining
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings
• Proficiency in CAM software and G-code programming
• ExperienceFreshers (0–1 year) – with strong CAM/software knowledge (for junior role)
• OR
• 1–5 years of experience in CNC programming (for experienced role)
• Technical SkillsCNC programming (3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis preferred)
• CAD/CAM software proficiency
• Tool selection and process optimization
• Knowledge of materials like aluminum, composites, and alloys (preferred)
