Role of Credit Risk Associate

We at Khatabook are creating a team of kickass people in our business

loans vertical. This team is working on enabling financial services to

India’s huge MSME segment which has been neglected till now by

traditional players.We have already made significant headway by

creating innovative solutions tailor-made for manufacturers,

distributors, and retailers. As a part of the Lending team, you would

work and create a strategy for a 100x journey from the current stage.

Responsibilities:

1. Loan Application Assessment:

● Review and analyze business loan applications, credit

reports, financial statements, and supporting documents.

● Analyzing bank statements & financial statements todetermine the borrower’s suitability.

● Assess the overall creditworthiness of businesses applying

for loans.

2. Risk Analysis:

● Conduct comprehensive risk analysis, identifying potential

risks and mitigating factors.

● Determine appropriate loan structures, terms, and conditions

based on risk assessment.

3. Policy Adherence:

● Ensure that all loan applications adhere to company lending

policies and guidelines.

● Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best

practices related to business lending.

● Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive borrower

information.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions,

assessments, and communications.

● Generate reports on underwriting activities and performance

metrics as required.

● Participate in periodic audits and quality control processes.
