About the Role:

We are looking for a highly adaptable Electrical Engineering intern to drive physical electronics prototyping for our incubated startups. You will be the execution engine for power, logic, and connectivity—translating abstract founder ideas into stable, manufacturable hardware. We value exploratory, real-world application over theoretical exercises. If you prefer running simulations without ever touching a soldering iron, this is not the role for you.

What You'll Do (The Prototyping Workflow):

• Requirements Sync: Map out power, logic, and spatial requirements based on technical briefs.

• Architecture & Component Selection: Design system architecture and source cost-effective components.

• Breadboarding & Rapid Prototyping: Build initial prototypes to validate logic, code, and sensor integration.

• PCB Layout & DFM: Translate breadboards into custom, compact Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts optimized for manufacturing.

• Assembly & Firmware: Execute precise manual soldering, assemble boards, and flash embedded firmware (C/C++).

• Testing & Iteration: Rigorously test and debug hardware using multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Required Technical Arsenal & Skills:

• EDA Software Mastery: Deep fluency in modern schematic and PCB design tools like Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle.

• Embedded Systems: Hands-on experience programming/integrating microcontrollers like ESP32, STM32, and Arduino.

• Workshop Skills: High proficiency in precise manual soldering, wiring, and operating diagnostic bench equipment.

• Mindset: A builder who takes pride in clean circuits and possesses extreme adaptability to tackle untested hardware challenges.
