Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified, proactive, and detail-oriented Legal Executive / Lawyer to support the company’s legal, compliance, and regulatory functions within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of legal drafting, compliance management, dispute handling, and regulatory frameworks applicable to financial institutions and Registered Advisory (RA) firms.

Candidates with hands-on experience in financial services, NBFCs, stock market-related businesses, or SEBI-regulated entities will be preferred. Strong understanding of SEBI circulars, compliance guidelines, and legal risk management is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

** Draft, review, vet, and manage legal agreements, contracts, notices, undertakings, policies, and client documentation

* Ensure compliance with applicable laws, SEBI regulations, RBI guidelines, and internal company policies

* Handle legal notices, customer disputes, recovery matters, arbitration cases, and legal correspondence

* Support the organization in maintaining regulatory compliance related to financial services and Registered Advisory (RA) operations

* Interpret and implement SEBI circulars, compliance updates, and regulatory amendments as applicable to the business

* Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and regulatory authorities whenever required

* Provide legal guidance to internal departments on risk mitigation, contractual obligations, and compliance matters

* Maintain proper records and documentation of agreements, legal cases, notices, and compliance activities

* Assist during internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inspections

* Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the financial services industry and advise management accordingly

* Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive legal and business information

Key Requirements:

* * Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory; LLM will be an added advantage

* Prior experience in Financial Services, NBFC, Broking, Investment Advisory, or related sectors preferred

* Strong understanding of Contract Law, Corporate Law, Financial Regulations, and Compliance Frameworks

* Good knowledge of SEBI circulars, RA compliance requirements, and regulatory procedures

* Excellent legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

* Ability to independently handle legal documentation and coordination activities

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

* Proficiency in legal documentation, compliance reporting, and case follow-up

Preferred Skills:

* Experience in handling recovery matters and legal notices related to financial products/services

* Familiarity with SEBI Registered Advisory (RA) regulations and compliance structures

* Knowledge of RBI regulations, AML/KYC compliance, and financial industry legal practices

* Good organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and professional environment
