Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the godown (warehouse).
- Receive incoming spice and FMCG goods and check quantity and condition.
- Arrange proper storage of products to avoid damage, moisture, or spoilage.
- Maintain accurate stock records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Supervise loading and unloading of goods.
- Ensure correct product picking and packing for dispatch.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams for timely delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the warehouse.
- Prevent stock damage, theft, and wastage.
- Support regular stock audits and inventory checks.
Requirements
- 2–5 years experience in warehouse / godown supervision
- Basic knowledge of stock handling and inventory management
- Good supervision and team handling skills
- Ability to manage labour and loading/unloading work
