Role Overview

Cornertile Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Finance Executive with strong expertise in taxation, compliance, and financial operations. The role will be critical in ensuring financial discipline, statutory compliance, and supporting business growth through effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (day-to-day accounting entries)
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review

2. Taxation & Compliance (Core Focus)

• Handle GST compliance including:
• GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 filings
• Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation
• GST audits and notices handling
• Manage TDS compliance:
• TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing
• Issuance of TDS certificates (Form 16A)
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax regulations
• Coordinate with external consultants for assessments and audits
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure timely implementation

3. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (ROC, GST, Income Tax)
• Assist in audits (internal & external)
• Maintain proper documentation and records for compliance

4. Business Finance Support

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze financial data to improve cost efficiency
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
• Provide financial insights for warehouse/logistics operations

5. Process Improvement

• Streamline accounting processes and improve internal controls
• Support implementation of accounting software/ERP systems
• Ensure data accuracy and financial transparency

Key Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory
• CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) – Preferred

Experience

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation
• Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or real estate sector is a plus

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Good command over MS Excel (pivot tables, financial analysis)
