Reports To: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Associate to join our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

·       Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and journal entries

·       Reconcile bank statements and monitor company transactions

·       Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings

·       Maintain accurate and timely records of invoices and payments

·       Support preparation of financial statements and reports

·       Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with filing returns

·       Coordinate with auditors during audits

·       Manage petty cash and process employee expense reimbursements

·       Contribute to implementing and improving internal financial controls

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field

·       1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance

·       Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

·       Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP is a plus

·       Proficiency in Kannada and English (spoken and written) – mandatory

·       Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

·       Strong organizational and time-management skills

·       Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience with GST, TDS, and regulatory compliance

·       Familiarity with Tally Prime or cloud-based accounting tools

·       Basic knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance

·       Working Conditions

·       Office-based role

·       Standard business hours (Monday–Saturday) with flexibility during closings or audits

·       Commensurate with experience and industry standards
