Accounts /Finance Manager

1. Maintaining and supporting internal control policies and procedures, actively collaborating with property-level accounting staff, and supervising the team.

2. Managing monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations, preparing financial statements, analyzing cash flow, and managing intercompany activities.

3. Working closely with the leadership team on cash flow management, funding of mortgages, and accounts payable.

4. Collaborating with the Hotel team to establish efficient finance and accounting processes.

5. Processing weekly accounts payable batches and check runs.

6. Interacting with ownership representatives and assisting in the preparation of documents and analysis for annual audits.

7. Taking on additional assignments from the leadership team for special projects.

8. Investigating and rectifying any financial discrepancies, preparing budgets and budget reports, reconciling bank statements, and processing payroll.

9. Manage research and analysis of financial statements.

10. Core accounting experience in the month-end closing process, financial statement generation, work paper documentation, and analysis.

11. Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, accrual accounting, and revenue recognition.

12. Proficiency in Excel and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks with accuracy.
