Anesthesia Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Anesthesia Technician to support surgical teams in a reputed healthcare facility in Ireland. The ideal candidate will assist anesthesiologists in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and ensuring patient safety during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment before, during, and after surgical procedures

• Assist anesthesiologists in administering anesthesia

• Monitor and record patient vital signs during procedures

• Ensure proper sterilization and functioning of equipment

• Manage anesthesia supplies and inventory

• Follow hospital safety protocols and infection control standards

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hospital or clinical setting

• Knowledge of anesthesia machines and monitoring devices

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Basic English proficiency (IELTS/OET preferred but not mandatory at initial stage)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in multi-specialty hospitals

• Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environments

• Strong attention to detail and patient care
