Job Description
Role Overview
The Sales Support – Institutional Business Trainee will provide end-to-end operational and coordination support to the Institutional Sales team. The role involves managing client communication, supporting transaction processing, maintaining MIS and reports, coordinating meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. The incumbent will play a critical role in enabling seamless client servicing and operational efficiency for institutional business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Institutional Sales team with presentations, communications, and coordination for client engagements.
- Coordinate Zoom / Teams meetings including scheduling, invitations, and follow-ups.
- Handle client and distributor queries or complaints through email and phone, coordinating resolution with internal stakeholders.
- Follow up on hold/rejected investment applications and facilitate closure after necessary verification checks.
- Support empanelment, onboarding documentation, and internal coordination for institutional partners.
- Accept, scrutinize, and process commercial transaction requests including Purchase, Redemption, Switch, SIP, SWP, and STP transactions.
- Process non-commercial service requests as per defined operational guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to transaction cut-off timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain daily sales reports, dashboards, MIS, transaction records, KYC tracking, NFO data, time-stamp records, etc.
- Generate account statements and support transaction-related reporting requirements.
- Verify receipt of investor credits and support reconciliation activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation trails and always ensure audit readiness.
Experience & Expertise
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Basic understanding of Mutual Fund products and transaction processes.
- Exposure to investor servicing, transaction processing, or sales support activities will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and data management.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while working under stringent cut-off timelines.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
