Backend Software Developer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining server-side logic, APIs, databases, and infrastructure. You will play a key role in product stability, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend systems

Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams to deliver features

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with proper documentation

Work with relational and NoSQL databases for optimal data handling

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend services

Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions

Contribute to architectural discussions and product decisions

Implement security and data protection measures

Technical Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in Node.js / Python / Java / Go (any one)

Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Spring Boot)

Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture

Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB / Redis

Familiarity with Docker, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows

Good knowledge of Linux and server-side deployment

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Minimum 2 years of backend development experience

Experience working in product-based or SaaS companies

Exposure to scalable systems, distributed computing, and API versioning

Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
