Barista

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other café drinks according to company recipes and standards.
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take customer orders accurately and assist with menu recommendations.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and work area.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about inventory requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment checks.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and escalate concerns when required.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience as a Barista in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specialty coffee preparation and latte art.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
