Job Description

SUMMARY

  • Compensation: Fixed: ₹30k-40k per month + Sales Target Incentive (up to an additional ₹45K per month) + Monthly Travel conveyance

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Development Associate at Fortifire (Borus Fire Systems), you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for FORTIFIRE F101 - A Fire Safety Spray for Homes, through daily field visits, actively prospecting new leads, meeting potential customers face-to-face, and closing high-impact deals. You will own the complete sales cycle - from identifying opportunities, engaging prospects, and building trust, to negotiating and winning business.

Data Sourcing and Management

  • Planning regions in the city and sourcing locations of Apartments, Villas Sites across different localities on a 2-weekly basis using Google Maps, Housing.com (or similar)
  • Maintaining the database on the internal templates of the organisation


Sales Meetings

  • Executing daily field visits to meet with the respective Facility Manager or Safety Operations Team of the target sites each day
  • Preparing for meetings beforehand via a structured research on the visiting site - number of flats, size of flats, recommended placement, commercial structure
  • Having effective sales meetings
  • Understand existing safety measures and existing vendors
  • Position Fortifire F101 as the right fire safety choice for the apartments with our Fortifire coverage recommendation for their flat types
  • Planning the next steps to support driving awareness, plus discussions on a safety addition across the Apartment / Villa sites with the actual buyers - the resident welfare association (RWA) and the residents


Sales Clarifications & Proposals

  • Coordinating with the CEO on the pricing and awareness required to activate conversations with the Residents
  • Keeping conversations ongoing towards decisions with the RWA and residents using online channels
  • Getting an opt-in from the interested Residents with a final count on the number of interested falts


Sales Conversion

  • Getting pre-payment for the opted
  • Finalising an Installation date on a weekend
  • Aligning the Facility Manager of the site on the respective help required from their side on the decided date
  • Maintaining profitability as per the decided strategic guidelines


Client Coordination

  • Handing over the details and coordinating any installation plan/expectations to the Operations team at Fortifire for a smooth transition
  • Being the interface between the FM of the site, the Operations team at Fortifire, and the end customers

Good Fit: If you have already done field sales in the last 1 year.

Great Fit: If you have already sold inside apartments in the last 1 year.

Not a Fit: If you do software, online sales, inside, or Pre-Sales.


Preferred Companies/Industries: ex-AdOnMo or similar. ex-myGate or similar. Ran events and promotions

  • 1-3 Years Experience in Field Sales
  • You can speak and converse well on situational topics
  • You have a good track record of Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • You have Fluency in English. Kannada is an added advantage
  • You know your way through Internet usage and finding details
  • You have a Bike + Driving License
