About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and scale a multi-location manufacturing business. The CEO will be responsible for end-to-end business management, including strategy, operations, P&L ownership, growth, people leadership, and governance.

This role requires a leader who can drive operational excellence, market expansion, profitability, and organizational transformation in a competitive manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Define and drive the long-term vision, strategy, and growth roadmap
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and product expansion
  • Lead business transformation, digital adoption, and modernization initiatives
  • Align organizational strategy with board expectations and market dynamics



2. P&L Ownership & Financial Management

  • Own and drive profitability, revenue growth, and cost optimization
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Ensure strong financial discipline across plants and business units
  • Optimize capital allocation and ROI across operations



3. Manufacturing & Operations Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple plants/locations
  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and quality improvements
  • Implement best practices in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and automation
  • Ensure optimal capacity utilization and supply chain efficiency
  • Monitor production planning, inventory management, and cost controls



4. Business Growth & Market Expansion

  • Lead sales, business development, and customer engagement strategies
  • Strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Expand into new geographies, segments, and distribution channels
  • Build a strong market positioning and competitive advantage



5. People & Organizational Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performance leadership team
  • Drive culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee talent strategy, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Align HR practices with business goals and workforce productivity



6. Compliance, Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, labour, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Strengthen corporate governance and risk management frameworks
  • Drive safety culture across manufacturing units
  • Manage audits, legal compliance, and regulatory relationships



7. Stakeholder & Board Management

  • Act as the key interface between Board, investors, and leadership team
  • Present business performance, risks, and growth strategies
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in reporting
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and key engagements

Eligibility & Experience

  • Experience: 15–25+ years in manufacturing / industrial sector
  • At least 5–10 years in leadership roles (Business Head / COO / CEO / Plant Head)
  • Proven track record of managing multi-location operations
  • Experience in scaling business and driving profitability
  • Exposure to mid-size to large manufacturing setups



Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Production preferred)
  • MBA (Preferred – Strategy / Operations / General Management)
