Factory Supervisor

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Factory Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, manpower management, production planning, machine utilization, quality control, and dispatch coordination. The ideal candidate should ensure smooth factory operations, achieve production targets, maintain discipline, reduce wastage, and improve overall efficiency and quality of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure targets are achieved.
• Monitor injection moulding / manufacturing processes and machine output.
• Plan manpower allocation for shifts and production lines.
• Ensure minimum downtime of machines and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Monitor raw material usage and reduce production wastage.

Workforce Supervision:

• Handle factory workers, machine operators, helpers, and supervisors.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and shift schedules.
• Train workers on SOPs, safety practices, and production quality standards.
• Resolve shop-floor issues quickly and effectively.

Quality Control:

• Ensure products meet company quality standards.
• Monitor rejection rates and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with QC teams for inspections and approvals.
• Maintain proper documentation of production and quality records.

Maintenance & Safety:

• Ensure machines and moulds are properly maintained.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and factory safety standards.
• Ensure workers follow safety procedures.

Inventory & Dispatch Coordination:

• Monitor stock of raw materials and packing materials.
• Coordinate with stores and dispatch teams for timely deliveries.
• Maintain production reports, inventory records, and daily output tracking.

Reporting:

• Prepare daily production reports and machine performance reports.
• Report production issues, breakdowns, and delays to management.
• Suggest process improvements for better productivity and cost reduction.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–8 years of factory or manufacturing supervision experience preferred if any.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing / injection moulding industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of production planning and machine operations.
• Strong leadership and manpower handling skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, production reports, ERP preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
