Job Summary
The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and ensuring excellent guest service. This role manages reception staff, coordinates room allocations, handles guest concerns, and maintains smooth day-to-day front office activities.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Supervise daily front office operations (reception, reservations, cashiering)
✅ Ensure high standards of guest service and satisfaction
✅ Manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
✅ Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
✅ Train, schedule, and monitor front office staff
✅ Coordinate with housekeeping for room availability and cleanliness
✅ Maintain accurate guest records and billing
✅ Prepare daily occupancy and revenue reports
✅ Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures
✅ Upsell rooms and hotel services when possible
Required Skills & Qualifications
✔ Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or related field
✔ 2–3 years experience in hotel front office operations
✔ Strong communication and leadership skills
✔ Knowledge of PMS software (e.g., minihotelman)
✔ Ability to handle pressure and multitask
✔ Good English & local language communication
✔ Professional appearance and attitude
Preferred
⭐ Experience in budget or boutique hotels
⭐ Local area knowledge
⭐ Revenue handling experience
