About the Role

Proxima Piping Systems Pvt Ltd is looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager to independently own the company's books of accounts, statutory compliance, and inventory/procurement coordination. This is a broad, high-ownership role suited to someone who can operate without heavy supervision and is comfortable straddling finance and operations in a manufacturing/trading environment.

Note: This role combines core accounting/compliance responsibilities with stock and purchase coordination. Candidates should be comfortable with both.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts (Tally/ERP)
• Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure timely compliance with Income Tax, TDS, GST, and other applicable statutory requirements
• File income tax returns and TDS returns within due dates
• Coordinate directly with the company's Chartered Accountant (CA) for audits, filings, and advisory matters
• Maintain documentation for statutory audits and assessments

Inventory & Procurement

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production/sales to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Raise and track purchase orders with vendors
• Reconcile physical stock with book stock periodically
• Support vendor negotiations and payment terms from a finance perspective

General

• Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives
• Liaise with banks for working capital, LC/BG, and other credit facilities as needed
• Ensure internal financial controls are followed

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance); CA-Inter or semi-qualified candidates preferred
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing/trading SME
• Strong working knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, and Income Tax filing procedures
• Prior experience coordinating with external CAs/auditors
• Working knowledge of inventory/purchase processes is a strong plus
• Proficiency in MS Excel; ERP exposure preferred
