Job Description: Key Account Manager (KAM) Intern

Location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka (In-Office)

Position Type: Internship (6 Months) with potential for Full-Time Conversion (PPO based on performance)

Experience Required: Minimum 6 months of experience in Staffing, Recruitment, or HR Consultancy

​🎯 Role Overview

​As a Key Account Manager (KAM) Intern at our Indiranagar hub, you will act as a strategic liaison between our corporate clients and our internal talent acquisition teams. This is a high-impact, client-facing role tailored for an ambitious professional who already understands the fundamentals of staffing/consultancy and wants to master client relationship management, revenue retention, and operational execution.

​🔑 Key Responsibilities

​1. Client Relationship & Account Management

• ​Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for assigned corporate accounts to understand their talent requirements, culture, and hiring timelines.
• ​Requirement Gathering & Alignment: Conduct detailed intake calls with client HRs/hiring managers to break down Job Descriptions (JDs), required skill sets, budget limits, and SLAs.
• ​Account Health & Retention: Maintain regular touchpoints with clients to gather feedback, address bottlenecks, and ensure high satisfaction scores.

​2. Operational Delivery & Delivery Management

• ​Recruitment Coordination: Brief internal recruitment teams and sourcing specialists on priority client requisitions.
• ​Quality Assurance: Screen profiles shared by recruiters before final presentation to clients to ensure 100% skill alignment and quality control.
• ​Interview Scheduling & Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end candidate lifecycle—from scheduling interview rounds to offer rollout and candidate joining.

​3. Business Growth & Market Mapping

• ​Account Mining: Identify expansion opportunities within existing client accounts for upselling staffing, contract hiring, or RPO services.
• ​Market Insights: Track talent trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices to advise clients proactively.

​4. Reporting & Governance

• ​Tracker Maintenance: Maintain updated Client Relationship Management (CRM) trackers, fulfillment rates, time-to-hire metrics, and revenue dashboards.
• ​Review Meetings: Participate in weekly/monthly business review (WBR/MBR) meetings with clients and internal leadership.

​📋 What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• ​Experience: Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in a recruitment consultancy, staffing agency, or corporate talent acquisition setup.
• ​Location: Must be based in or ready to commute daily to Indiranagar, Bangalore.
• ​Education: Graduate/Postgraduate degree (MBA in HR, Marketing, or Business Analytics is a plus).
• ​Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; comfortable presenting to corporate HR managers and senior executives.
• ​Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of recruitment workflows, sourcing channels, SLA tracking, and IT/Non-IT hiring terminologies.
• ​Problem-Solving & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle client escalations, manage offer drop-outs, and negotiate terms smoothly.
• ​Tools Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, recruitment CRMs, ATS platforms, and LinkedIn.
