Job Title: Diesel Mechanic (Generator Technician)

Location: Hebbal, Bengaluru
Job Overview:
Amar Constructions (Amaresh Power Gensets Division) is looking for a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic / Generator Technician to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators. The candidate will ensure uninterrupted power solutions for clients by maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair diesel generator (DG) sets
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in generators
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing of gensets
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and ensure quick resolution
- Conduct load testing and performance checks
- Maintain service logs and report major technical issues
- Visit client sites for on-site service and support
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in diesel generators or similar equipment
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, and control panels
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently
- Familiarity with tools and testing equipment
- Willingness to travel for field service work
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical, or Electrical field
- Experience in generator servicing companies
