Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our laundry store team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers, managing orders, handling billing transactions, coordinating garment packing, and providing excellent customer support to ensure a smooth and satisfactory customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Reception
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with laundry and dry-cleaning service inquiries.
- Receive customer garments and accurately record service requirements.
- Communicate estimated delivery times and service charges.
- Address customer concerns, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Billing & Cash Handling
- Generate invoices and process customer payments through cash, card, or digital payment methods
- Maintain accurate billing records and daily transaction reports.
- Ensure all orders are properly entered into the store management system.
Packing & Organizing
- Verify cleaned garments against customer orders before dispatch.
- Pack garments neatly and securely according to company standards.
- Organize completed orders for customer pickup or delivery.
- Ensure proper labeling and tracking of customer items.
Customer Support
- Provide updates to customers regarding order status and delivery schedules.
- Handle customer queries via phone, email, or in person.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided.
- Promote store services, special offers, and loyalty programs.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Coordinate with laundry and delivery staff to ensure timely order processing.
- Assist with inventory monitoring of packaging and office supplies.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain customer records.
