Retail Team Leader

The Team Leader at Organic World is responsible for supervising day-to-day store operations, leading the sales team, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining Organic World’s brand values, quality standards, and sustainability focus.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management

• Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to achieve daily sales and service targets
• Allocate duties, prepare staff rosters, and ensure adequate floor coverage
• Train and coach team members on products, customer handling, and SOPs
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback

Store Operations

• Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations
• Monitor store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and organic product handling norms
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently

Sales & Customer Experience

• Drive sales through customer engagement and product knowledge
• Promote Organic World products and educate customers on organic benefits
• Maintain high standards of customer service and loyalty

Inventory & Cash Handling

• Oversee stock levels, replenishment, and inventory accuracy
• Reduce wastage and shrinkage through proper controls
• Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and daily cash reconciliation

Reporting

• Prepare daily sales reports and share updates with Store Manager
• Track targets, footfall, and productivity metrics
• Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team-handling skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Basic understanding of retail operations and inventory management
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Passion for organic products, health, and sustainability
• Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate / Diploma (preferred)
• 2–4 years of experience in retail, FMCG, food, or supermarket operations
• Prior experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor is an advantage
• Working ConditionsRotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Standing and active floor supervision required
