Job Description
Job Title: Marketing & Sales Executive (Laptop Store – Inside Sales)Role OverviewWe are hiring a Marketing & Sales Executive for a laptop store who will handle customer inquiries, generate leads, and drive sales through in-store, phone, and online channels. This is a non-field role focused on converting walk-ins and digital leads into sales.
Key Responsibilities1. Customer Handling (Core Role)
- Attend walk-in customers and explain laptop models clearly
- Understand usage needs (student / office / gaming / editing)
- Recommend suitable laptops, accessories, and upgrades
2. Inside Sales (No Field Work)
- Handle inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Google
- Follow up with leads and convert them into sales
- Share quotations and close deals
3. Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on brands like Lenovo, HP, Dell, Asus, Acer
- Explain specs in simple terms (RAM, SSD, processor, battery)
- Suggest upgrades (SSD, RAM, software, accessories)
4. Upselling & Cross-Selling
- Sell accessories (mouse, keyboard, bags, chargers)
- Promote services (AMC, repairs, software installation)
- Increase average bill value
5. Digital Marketing Support
- Post daily updates/offers on Instagram & WhatsApp Status
- Respond to online queries quickly
- Help generate leads through local ads or marketplace listings
6. Store Support
- Maintain display laptops clean and ready
- Coordinate stock availability
- Support billing and basic documentation
- Required SkillsStrong communication (Kannada + basic English/Hindi)
- Basic laptop knowledge (or quick learner)
- Sales mindset (convincing, confident talking)
- Familiar with WhatsApp Business & social media
- Ability to handle multiple customers/leads
- Preferred Experience0–3 years in laptop store / mobile store / electronics sales
- Freshers with interest in tech + sales can apply
