Job SummaryThe Nursing Staff in a dermatology clinic is responsible for assisting doctors in clinical and aesthetic procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining hygiene standards, and providing pre- and post-procedure care.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPatient CareAssist doctors during consultations and procedures
• Prepare patients for treatments and ensure comfort
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
• Pre-Procedure ResponsibilitiesRecord patient medical history and vital signs
• Explain procedures and obtain informed consent
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilized instruments
• Procedure AssistanceAssist in treatments such as:
• PRP / GFC therapy
• Laser procedures
• Chemical peels
• Microneedling (MNRF)
• Ensure proper handling of equipment and materials
• Post-Procedure CareProvide immediate care after procedures
• Educate patients on post-treatment care
• Schedule follow-ups if required
• Hygiene & Infection ControlMaintain strict sterilization protocols
• Ensure cleanliness of treatment areas
• Dispose biomedical waste as per regulations
• Medication & InventoryAdminister prescribed medications (if trained)
• Maintain stock and track consumables
• Monitor expiry dates
• DocumentationMaintain patient records and treatment details
• Handle consent forms and procedure documentation
• Equipment HandlingOperate dermatology machines (if trained)
• Ensure proper maintenance and report issues
• Emergency HandlingAssist in managing adverse reactions
• Provide first aid when required
• Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma / B.Sc. in Nursing or relevant qualification
• Experience in dermatology/aesthetic clinic preferred
• Knowledge of basic dermatology procedures
• Good communication and patient-handling skills
