Job Description
Role OverviewThe Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of The Organic World retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of store presentation and inventory management.
- Key Responsibilities1. Store Operations ManagementManage end-to-end store operations including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product displays meet brand standards
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams for replenishment
- 2. Sales & Revenue GrowthAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Drive store performance through upselling, cross-selling, and promotions
- Track daily sales and prepare performance reports
- 3. Team ManagementRecruit, train, and supervise store staff
- Create duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
- 4. Customer ExperienceEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Build customer loyalty through personalized service
- 5. Inventory & Stock ControlMonitor stock levels, expiry dates, and wastage
- Conduct regular stock audits and shrinkage control
- Ensure proper handling of organic and perishable products
- 6. Compliance & HygieneMaintain hygiene and food safety standards
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness
- Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 5 years of experience in retail/store management (FMCG, grocery, or organic retail preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred SkillsExperience in handling perishable/organic product categories
- Knowledge of POS systems and retail software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- KPIs / Success MetricsSales target achievement (%)
