Job Description
Position: VMC CNC Programmer & Operator
Experience Required: 3–5 Years
Job Responsibilities
- Create, test, and optimize 3-axis or multi-axis CNC machining programs using CAM software or manual G/M codes.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding methods.
- Set work offsets and accurately fixture raw materials on the VMC machine.
- Perform machine setup and run trial components.
- Monitor spindle speeds, feed rates, and machining operations to ensure quality and productivity.
- Make tool offset corrections and process adjustments to prevent machining errors.
- Inspect finished components and maintain dimensional accuracy as per drawings.
- Follow shop safety procedures and maintain machine cleanliness.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in VMC programming and machine operation.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and fixtures.
- Experience with CAM software and manual G-code programming.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
