About the department
Commercial Insight & Analytics, GBS Bangalore (Part of Operations GBS), is responsible for data management, analytics and insight generation for the global markets. The unit supports global stakeholders in taking commercial execution decisions through data-driven insights. The department encompasses various functions such as Frontline Excellence, Contract Operations & Insights, Pricing & Market access, Integrated Insights & Analytics 

 

The Position
The role is for Competitive Intelligence function supporting U.S. business. As an Advanced Business Analyst, you will:

• Communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership confidently and persuasively.
• Lead scoping discussions with key stakeholders, understand business objectives, and context of associated data sets to provide expert recommendations on generating business insights.
• Perform comprehensive CI analysis at brand/disease level and deriving actionable insights, focussed on strategic imperatives
• Provide holistic CI surveillance of competitor products/companies and Therapy areas
• Manage pre-Congress planning and post-congress reporting activities
• Collating materials gathered by the primary CI vendors, review the content and drive strategic insights and prepare newsletters/reports
• Lead projects end-to-end and work across multiple projects simultaneously
  Conduct quality checks of various reports and analyses, ensuring documentation is recorded and maintained to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Prepare management presentations and independently make recommendations based on data, market, and business insights.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and independent execution of tasks/projects with minimal supervision. 

 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

 

• A master’s degree (preferably within life sciences/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute with a total experience of 7+ years
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Competitive intelligence field, with at least 3 years in analyzing US healthcare data.
• Proficiency in visualization tools like basic PowerBI
• An understanding of healthcare processes, patient support programs, patient-related regulations, policies, and guidelines.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Great attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and work in complex business environment
• Strong project management skills to facilitate cross-functional projects

 

The candidate will have to support stakeholders until 12 noon U.S. time.
