Razorpay is looking for an Underwriting Analyst to support the credit underwriting and risk filtering
processes for Razorpay Capital, with a focus on assisting RazorpayX's efforts in lead filtering for Regulated Entities (REs).

Job Description

• Assist in executing the underwriting risk strategy for Razorpay's clients.
• Support the evaluation of card leads according to credit gating criterias, ensuring timely and accurate processing with RE partners
• Utilize Credit Bureau (Experian, Trans Union etc.), commercial, and alternative data to support sound credit decision-making.
• Assist in implementing lead filtering processes for REs in collaboration with the RazorpayX team.
• Develop understanding of KYC framework, documentary checks, fraud checks, and other lending systems.
• Responsibilities may require interaction with Sales and Lending Partners to gather necessary information.

Skills Required

• Foundational understanding of AI skills and credit risk concepts or a strong desire to learn AI skills with some experimentation already done
• Ability to research and accurately collate different sources of data.
• Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new tech software.
• An organized and meticulous approach to work.
• Hardworking with strong work ethics.

Experience Required:

• 2+ years of experience in finance, risk, or a related analytical role. Experience in commercial underwriting support is a plus.
