Roles and Responsibilities
Preparation (core)
o Prepare business license renewal applications for multiple jurisdictions,
ensuring correctness of entity details, forms, fees, and due dates.
o Prepare Sales & Use tax registration applications per jurisdiction
requirements and compliance guidelines.
o Maintain accurate trackers, logs, and documentation in the internal
application, update status post-renewal receipt.
o Delivery & Collaboration
o Share prepared files and supporting reports for review; incorporate review
comments promptly.
o Coordinate with Senior Associate/AM for handos to US teams and respond
to queries.
Compliance & Quality
o Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), information security,
documentation standards, and audit requirements.
o Use checklists to ensure first-time-right output; escalate exceptions.
Procurement Help Desk (PHD) (as needed / seasoned associates)
o Support form procurement from jurisdictions and license follow-ups after
filings to obtain renewed licenses on time.
Continuous improvement
o Suggest ideas to streamline templates, trackers, and macros; participate in
knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements
Educational qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Accounts/Finance preferred); Master’s is a plus.
Work experience
Total: 0–2 years (Business Licensing/US Indirect exposure preferred).
Mandatory technical & functional skills
Proficiency in MS O??ice (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); comfort with
templates, pivots, lookups.
Exposure to US Indirect Tax / Business Licensing concepts and jurisdictional
requirements.
Ability to work on multiple assignments, follow Standard Operating Procedures
SOPs, and meet Turn Around Time (TAT)/quality targets.
Clear written & verbal communication for collaboration with US engagement teams.
