About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Methods and Tools team. This role acts as the bridge between intricate business needs and powerful, automated solutions for engineering data authoring on our cutting-edge data-centric document generation and management platform.

You will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital continuity, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across our organization. This is a hands-on position where you will translate complex requirements into seamless, high-performance platform configurations, driving innovation from concept to implementation in a large, complex aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements & Analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for document automation templates, digital workflows, and data integration solutions. Identify business process inefficiencies and areas for automation.

• Platform Configuration (Hands-on): Directly configure document templates, dynamic data fields, workflow logic, and system integrations within our proprietary platform. Rapidly learn and master new internal tools and technologies with provided training.

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams, managing expectations and ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Execution & Quality Assurance: Partner with development teams to refine and clarify user stories and acceptance criteria. Develop and execute test plans, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure deployed solutions meet quality standards and business objectives.

• Documentation & Training: Create and maintain comprehensive artifacts, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. Conduct effective training for end-users on platform functionalities and new processes.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize current document management processes and enhance overall platform utilization and data governance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or a similar role, with a strong focus on document lifecycle management, business process automation, or enterprise data management.

• Platform Mastery: Proven ability to quickly learn and master new proprietary internal tools and systems is essential.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the document lifecycle, dynamic data integration, digital signatures, regulatory compliance, and automated archiving.

• Technical Acumen: Foundational understanding of database concepts and API interactions necessary for data exposition and platform integration.

• Analysis & Elicitation: Excellent requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills (e.g., use cases, user stories, process flows).

• Leadership & Communication: Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical configurations and autonomously lead initiatives and influence interfacing teams.

• Agile Proficiency: Good to have experience working in Agile frameworks such as SAFe and Scrum.
