Summary:
As a Business Architect, a typical day involves identifying opportunities that can bring measurable business value by thoroughly assessing the current operational state. The role includes capturing high-level requirements from various stakeholders and defining comprehensive business solutions that align with organizational goals. This position requires translating complex business needs into technology-enabled solutions and designing effective operating models. Additionally, the Business Architect supports transformation efforts by developing detailed business cases and providing guidance throughout the implementation of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business requirements within Oracle RMS context
-Prepare detailed test scenarios covering RMS functional areas like merchandising, pricing, inventory & replenishment
-Author test scripts with step-by-step instructions, expected results and RMS data setup conditions
-Map test scenarios to business requirements for full traceability
-Review and validate test scripts with business stakeholders before execution
-Test case execution & defect management

-Execute functional and regression test cases across RMS modules
-Log, track and triage defects with clear reproduction steps
-Coordinate with development teams on defect resolution and retest cycles
-Perform end-to-end scenario validation covering RMS-to-downstream integrations
-Prepare test execution metrics — test cases planned vs executed, pass/fail rates, defect density
-Track and report defect aging, severity distribution and open/closed trends
-Maintain test coverage traceability matrix and sign-off documentation

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technology-enabled solutions.
- Ability to develop and document business cases supporting strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with diverse teams.
- Capability to design and implement operating models that support business transformation.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
