Job Overview

The main objective of this role is to transform data into actionable insights and business solutions in the form of adhoc analysis, regular reports and dashboards for global Industrial Pricing team. This position gains experience in various areas including, but not limited to: extract, structure and analyze data; create interactive presentations and dashboards; perform different analysis like market basket analysis; customer churn analysis, opportunity cost analysis; automation and process improvement.

Therefore, the person in this role must be an expert in their field and confident in interacting with the stakeholders and proposing solutions.

Roles & Responsibility :

RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Ability to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
•    Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models in Data Bricks and Redshift
•    Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau
•    Translate business requirements into technical data solutions
•    Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support decision-making
•    Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders
•    Automate reporting processes and improve data pipelines using SQL & Python
•    Support for the development and maintenance of existing dashboards
•    Collaborate with team members, understand dependencies, and adapt to changing project needs
•    Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance standards

 

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

Full time bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•1-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or similar role
•Strong proficiency in SQL
•Must have Experience with Power BI, Tableau
•Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (preferred)
•Understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, data modeling) in Data Bricks & Redshift
•Insights generation, providing recommendation & story telling skills
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication, stakeholder management abilities, Storytelling and presentation skills is must
•Good to have knowledge in Machine Learning Algorithms like Random Forest, Classification, Gradient Boosting
