As a Senior Cloud Management Engineer will ensure secure cost-effective management of Azure resources, focusing on security

and financial optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure FinOps:

v Cloud Cost Optimization: Create recommendations to optimize most used Azure resources at PT.

v Budgeting & Anomaly Detection: Automate budgets & anomaly detection and collaborate with

teams to align costs with business goals.

v Resource Governance: Automate provisioning using Pulumi and enforce tagging for cost tracking.

v Monitor cloud spending using tools like Azure cost management tool, Azure Dashboards etc.

v Assist project teams in reducing the number of subscriptions (environments) used by projects by recommending best

practices and promoting a shift in work culture.

v Collaboration: Bridge finance and engineering teams; promote cost-aware practices.

General Cloud Management:

v Automation: Create scripts using Azure Automation, PowerShell, Pulumi, or Terraform to optimize cost management.

Experience with Azure DevOps is must for building Automation Pipelines.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

v Advanced knowledge on Azure cloud services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security tools etc.) and Azure best practices. 

v In-depth understanding of cloud security toots (e.g., Azure Defender etc).

v Proficiency in FinOps principles and hands-on experience with Azure Cost Management or similar financial tools.

v Scripting expertise in PowerShell, Python, Pulumi or Terraform to automate processes and manage cloud environments.

v Knowledge on CICD pipelines and tools involved preferably Azure DevOps. Experience:

v At least 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on best practices with cost management in Azure environments, along with a strong background in DevOps.

v Proven track record in implementing security frameworks. optimizing cloud FinOps Certifications:

v Azure 305 - Solutions Architect Expert certification highly preferred, v Azure 500 - Security Engineer Associate certification is also acceptable. 

v Good to have: Certified FinOps practitioner or similar certifications in cloud financial management. 

Qualification: v Should be B.TECH/B.E./M.TECH
