Project Role Description : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards, ensuring that data collection, storage, access, and usage processes are efficient and compliant. Additionally, the practitioner actively drives data stewardship initiatives to promote comprehensive governance practices across the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and data quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data governance challenges and recommend improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with data policies and standards across the organization.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members on data governance principles and practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Experience in designing and managing data governance frameworks within cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data security principles and practices to safeguard sensitive information.
- Ability to work with data cataloging and metadata management tools to enhance data discoverability.
- Familiarity with data quality assessment techniques and remediation strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to data management and governance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
