Job DescriptionPosition OverviewThe Incumbent will lead end-to-end delivery of BI initiatives, driving data driven decision-making across the organization. This role combines strong project management capabilities, stakeholder and client management experience, technical BI expertise, and people leadership. The candidate will oversee BI solution design, analytics delivery, reporting modernization, and the successful execution of projects from requirements gathering through deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Intelligence & Analytics LeadershipLead the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.Drive analytics initiatives, ensuring high-quality dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable data-driven insights.Oversee data modeling, ETL logic understanding, KPI frameworks, and analytics best practices.Experience with Matillion ETL, SQL, Snowflake data modeling concepts, and working with large data sets Project & Delivery ManagementManage full project lifecycles including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.Create and maintain project plans, timelines, resource models, and risk mitigation strategies.Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.Requirements Gathering & Solution DesignWork closely with clients, business partners, and cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into BI specifications.Develop comprehensive solution designs, wireframes, and technical documentation.Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business needs and long-term BI strategy.Client & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.Manage expectations, conduct workshops, lead presentations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate with executive stakeholders to define objectives, success criteria, and operational KPIs.RFP & Proposal ManagementLead the development of RFP responses, including solution outlines, delivery approaches, costing, and timelines.Support pre-sales efforts with client proposals, demonstrations, and capability presentations.People & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and grow a team of BI analysts, developers, and data specialists.Drive talent development, performance management, and capability building.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Governance, Quality & Best PracticesEstablish BI delivery standards, coding guidelines, and review processes.Implement governance around data quality, documentation, and change management.Promote best practices in visualization, storytelling, and analytical rigor.Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical SkillsHands-on expertise in Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense (at least one is mandatory; multiple preferred).Strong understanding of data analytics, visualization principles, and BI architecture.Experience with Matillion ETL, SQL, Snowflake data modeling concepts, and working with large data sets Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Project & Client Management8–12+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data-related roles.Proven track record in project management, including Agile or Waterfall methodologies.Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing client-facing engagements, workshops, and strategic discussions.LeadershipDemonstrated capability in leading teams, mentoring talent, and driving performance.Ability to work in fast-paced environments, prioritize effectively, and manage competing demands.Other CompetenciesStrategic thinking and the ability to design scalable BI solutions.Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.Excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, or related fields.Project Management certifications (PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
