Job Description

Job Family Summary:

•     Undertake the design and review of Structural elements on water and wastewater infrastructure treatment projects including water retaining Structures, reservoirs and pump stations, pipeline structures, Industrial building’s structure, Sewage treatment and associated structures.

 

Job Profile Summary:

·        3 to 6 years of experience as a structural design engineer, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater-related design projects. Structural Analysis and Design, Preparation of structural calculation reports, design calculations using Excel and other in-house software.

·        Excellent technical skills in design for Concrete and steel structures. Able to correlate and interpret the data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams. Coordinate and collaborate effectively with the other disciplines.

·        Able to work in a complete life cycle of a design project within Water and Wastewater environment under supervision of senior engineers.

·        Familiarity with international codes, including Eurocodes, American codes, Australian standards, and British Code of practices. Able to work effectively in a diverse team spread across various geographical locations.

·        Familiarity with various software packages, ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Robot, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAFE and SAP 2000. Strong understanding of safety in design and related practices. Performs and ensures quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. 
• Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK).
• 3+ years of experience as a structural design engineer, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure treatment projects including water retaining Structures, reservoirs and pump stations, pipeline structures, Industrial building’s structure and associated structures
