Boeing SAP CoE (Center of Excellence) is currently looking for Experience SAP Functional Consultant (S/4 Hana)- Procure to Pay (P2P) with LE Experience to join their Core Functional team. This position will focus on implementation of large-scale SAP programs and support of already implemented SAP programs based on S4 HANA.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including business, solution architects and developers to implement SAP projects.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities

•    Define configuration strategy and solution patterns for reuse, scalability, and maintainability across S/4HANA.
•    Provide functional leadership and hands-on support for SAP S/4HANA Logistics Execution (LE) including LE-Shipping & Transportation.  
•    Configure and support inbound and outbound delivery processing using S/4HANA best practices, including shipping points, routes, delivery types, picking, packing, loading, and Post Goods Issue (PGI).  
•    Implement and govern Advanced Output Management using BRF+/AOM and manage delivery outputs (IDocs/EDI).  
•    Support transportation planning, shipment creation, freight cost integration, freight settlement, and integration with SAP TM/EWM (basic or embedded) where applicable.  
•    Leverage Fiori apps for LE monitoring and execution; support serialization, batch management, and handling units (HU).  
•    Troubleshoot LE issues, support ABAP/development teams for technical fixes, and provide integration guidance across SD, MM, FI, EWM, and TM.  
•    Support ATP/aATP, delivery relevance scenarios, and ensure end-to-end order fulfillment integrity.
•    Drive process standardization and controls: GR/IR, invoice matching/tolerances (VIM/MIRO/ERS), dispute resolution, segregation of duties, tax/WHT compliance, auditability.  
•    Create and maintain architecture artifacts, FDDs, test strategies and cases (SIT/UAT/Performance), runbooks, and operational playbooks.  
•    Lead delivery for PTP implementations and enhancements: design, configuration, development coordination, testing, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.  
•    Provide technical leadership during testing and rollout: issue triage, RCA, remediation coordination.  
•    Ensure PTP solutions comply with security, regulatory, and corporate IT standards; embed finance/tax/audit controls.  
•    Mentor and enable functional teams, junior architects, and third-party integrators; drive knowledge transfer and readiness for sustained operations.  
•    Evaluate third-party tools and SAP/market capabilities; recommend pragmatic solutions and adoption roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

•    8-12 years of total IT experience.
•    8+ years configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Procure-to-Pay (PTP) solutions with a Minimum of 3 years SAP LE experience and demonstrated S/4HANA project involvement.
•    Hands-on configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA Logistics Execution.
•    Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics execution processes (order to cash, warehouse-to-shipping).
•    1+ full lifecycle SAP implementations covering scoping & planning, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover and post-go-live support.
•    At least 1 end-to-end implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA covering the Procure-to-Pay cycle.
•    Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into conceptual and detailed solution designs, writing functional specifications, coordinating development (ABAP/API), managing transports, and executing test strategies (SIT/UAT/performance)
•    Strong understanding of S/4HANA LE simplifications and data model changes
•    Hands-on experience implementing Advanced Output Management (BRF+)
•    Ability to debug business processes and collaborate with ABAP developers to resolve technical issues.
•    Familiarity with Fiori extensibility, CDS views, and S/4HANA analytics for logistics.
•    Knowledge of integration patterns between S/4HANA and SAP TM/Embedded EWM.
•    Proven expertise in SAP interfaces: EDI, RFC, IDoc, APIs, and middleware integrations between SAP and non SAP systems (bank/payment hubs, tax engines, supplier portals, e invoicing platforms).
•    Experience in business process modeling and design for global, multi business environments.
•    Exposure to SAP Solution Manager and SAP testing tools.
•    Demonstrated experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks.
•    Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and IT, including engagement with senior leadership.
•    Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills; experience working with international, cross-functional teams.
•    Understanding of aerospace & defense business processes preferred. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

•    Experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM integration. Exposure to SAP TM and transportation scenario implementations.
•    Experience in S/4HANA Conversion (ECC to S/4) projects.
•    SAP S/4HANA certification in Logistics / Supply Chain.
•    TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certification preferred.
•    Experience with cloud/on prem hybrid architectures and API led integrations.
•    Familiarity with Fiori/UI, security/role design for PTP, and performance optimization techniques.

Typical Education & Experience

•    Typically, 8-12 years related work experience or Relevant military experience. advanced degree (eg. Bachelor,Master, etc), preferred, but not required.
