Job Title: Senior Power BI + Tableau Consultant

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

The role requires good data visualization development with 5+ year experience and the candidate must have strong ability to:

• Work both as a good team player and an individual contributor throughout design, development and delivery phases and stay with the focus of quality deliverable.
• Working with the clients directly to understand the requirement and provide inputs to build the optimum solutions
• Develop new capabilities for our clients in the form of Visualization dashboards in tools like Power BI, Qlikview, Qliksense, Tableau etc.
• Provide support in organization-level initiatives & operational activities
• Ensure continual knowledge management and take part in all internal L&D team’s trainings
• Knowledge of run/change operations

 

Technical skills requirement:

• Excellent visualization design and development experience with one or more visualization tools: Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI
• Experience in design & build dashboard automation processes as well as organize analysis findings into logical presentations
• Strong basic understanding and hands experience on SQL; Relational database experience such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata
• Work with individual responsibility on analytical projects/requests, drafting new SQL queries
• Excellent aptitude for learning business, data, GUI tools, and analysis techniques
• Ability to interpret and present data in a manner to communicate findings and insights

 

Good to have:

• Good understanding of Data Management concepts and Data Strategy
• Very good experience on data preparation tools like Alteryx
• Knowledge about data concepts such as Data Warehouses, Data Marts, data extraction and preparation processes and Data Modelling
• Understanding of the importance of Data governance and Data security
• Experience on Banking and Capital Markets domains

 

Experience :

• Should have 5+ years of Relevant Experience.
