This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. Job Family Definition:

Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls.

Management Level Definition:

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

  • Provides complex financial analysis related to the NaaS business for:
    • Multinational deals (Global) / central invoicing
    • Involvement in Non-standard & complex deals
  • Establishes and maintains business relationships to actively ensure financial analysis needs are met with:
    • Solution Ops/ BU Finance/ GSAO/ HPEFS/ Business Ops/ Delivery and across Geo’s for Global Deals
  • Handles multiple change requests/ very high complex volumes
  • Provides analytics for business initiatives
  • Proactively develops a deeper understanding of the company's financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the Networking  and NaaS business
  • Proactively synchronizes the delivery status of each project with stakeholders, to ensure the revenue (& cost) are correctly managed
  • Lease/revenue planning/reconciliation
  • Assists with monthly journal entries, end of term management, and reporting.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
  • Experience in S4; Compass experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong business application proficiency

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of accounting/financial processes and principles
  • Proven experience performing and improving balance‑sheet/P&L reconciliations
  • Advanced analytical skills, including complex financial analysis and issue identification
  • Results-driven with strong ownership of deliverables, deadlines, and project execution
  • Quick learner who adapts rapidly to new tools and business models
  • Proactive self‑starter who identifies risks, proposes solutions, and drives process improvements
  • Clear communicator and effective collaborator with cross‑functional teams
  • Good business acumen and commits to ongoing development
