JOB DESCRIPTION--SENIOR –Risk Transformation-GRC- Business Analyst

 

Job Summary

 

As Risk Advisory Senior, you’ll contribute technically to Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Technology client engagements and internal projects. You’ll also identify potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements, and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you will understand and translate customer needs into business requirements for GRC Technology implementations.

 

Client responsibilities

• Understand and translate customer needs into business, technology solutions
• Capture user requirements, conduct user reviews and run stakeholder meetings
• Drive functional/application designs and ensure technology solutions represent current and future business requirements
• Develop accurate and clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Design best-practice technology solutions
• Work with the Solution Designers/Architects, Technical leads, and Development teams to bounce ideas, brainstorm available solutions, disseminate business requirements and articulate the best feasible solution to implement.
• Ability to work as a team lead within GRC tech enablement projects
• Right attitude towards teaming, ownership, and knowledge sharing
• Work back with the project team to maintain transparency in communication, highlight risks and share mitigation plan
• Ability to visualise and propose solutions to customers based on the requirements shared
• Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
• Planning and monitoring of the project deliverables for the team
• Mentor the project team in executing the project deliverables
• Regular status reporting to the project manager and onsite coordinators
• Demonstrate flexibility to travel to the customer locations / other EY offices, on need basis
• Good documentation and communication skills

 

People responsibilities

• Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for the team
• Foster teamwork, quality culture and lead by example.
• Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
• Train and mentor the project resources and team members

 

Mandatory skills requirements

• 4-9 years of experience in the GRC tools like Archer, IBM OpenPages, MetricStream, ServiceNow
• Good knowledge of GRC use cases such as – Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Vendor Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Continuous Authorization and Monitoring, Operational Resilience, Privacy Management, Regulatory Change, Audit Management.
• Should have led/completed at least 4 to 5 end-to-end advisory engagements in a BA role in GRC domain. Governance, risk and compliance services with a specific focus on IT, and related industry standards
• Understanding/certification on Risk management framework domain including Information Security, business continuity and Risk Management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to solutions
• Demonstrated experience in delivery management and client management

 

Preferred skills

 

• Advisory and consulting experience in GRC Domain. GRC Implementation/ managed services experience would be an added advantage
• Familiarity with a typical IT systems development life cycle (SDLC) and Experience in conducting awareness trainings
• Demonstrated track record with a consulting organization and/or a blue-chip organization
• B.E/B.Tech (Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Comp. Science)/MBA/M.Sc. having experience with other Big3 or panelled IT/ ITeS companies.

 

Certifications (Preferred)

Relevant professional certifications in GRC tools such as ServiceNow ITSM, Archer, IBM OpenPages, MetricStream
