IDMC Admin
• Experience: 5–9 years of overall IT experience with significant hands-on exposure to data integration or platform administration. • Core Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in IDMC administration, including installation, configuration, user and role management, and environment maintenance. • Platform Operations: Proven experience managing IDMC jobs, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in production environments. • Security & Access Control: Strong understanding of IDMC security model, access policies, and governance practices. • Process Orientation: Experience working with standard IT processes (change management, incident management, release management) in an enterprise setting. Infosys provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity; sexual orientation, religious practices and observances; national origin; pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions; status as a protected veteran or spouse/family member of a protected veteran; or disability. • IDMC Platform Administration: Install, configure, and maintain IDMC environments, including user management, security policies, and access controls. • Environment Management: Manage multiple IDMC environments (dev/test/prod), including upgrades, patches, and configuration changes with minimal downtime. • Performance & Monitoring: Monitor IDMC jobs, services, and resources; troubleshoot performance issues; optimize configurations for scalability and reliability. • Incident & Problem Management: Diagnose and resolve IDMC-related incidents, errors, and failures; perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures. • Backup & Recovery: Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for IDMC assets and configurations. • Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage roles and permissions, and support audits and compliance requirements related to data integration. • Collaboration with Dev & Data Teams: Partner with developers and data engineers to support deployments, promote objects across environments, and ensure smooth release cycles. • Automation & Scripting: Use containerization tools like Docker (where applicable) and scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and environment provisioning. • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for configurations, standards, procedures, and operational runbooks for IDMC administration. • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements in platform usage, governance, and operational efficiency based on best practices and hands-on experience.Job role
