Responsibilities:

We are seeking a seasoned Technology Professional with strong data engineering and analytics expertise to drive enterprise-scale data initiatives. This role will focus on building reliable data pipelines, delivering real-time insights, and enabling business leaders with advanced, interactive visualizations that go beyond traditional reporting. 

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex technical systems and business decision-making, playing a critical role in translating data into actionable insights for workplace operations and site leadership. 

Data Strategy & Delivery 

• Own end-to-end data initiatives, from requirement gathering and data sourcing to insight generation and executive-ready delivery. 

• Partner with business stakeholders to define analytical use cases, success metrics, and scalable data solutions. 

Data Engineering & Analytics 

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs. 

• Develop high-quality SQL-based reports and analytical data models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance. 

• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to solve complex operational and business problems. 

Real-Time Occupancy & Utilization Tracking 

• Manage ingestion and integration of data from:  

• Badge Readers / Access Control systems 

• IoT sensors for space utilization 

• HR systems and related enterprise platforms 

• Enable near real-time tracking and monitoring of workplace occupancy and utilization patterns. 

Advanced Visualization & Decision Support 

• Create impactful dashboards that move beyond static spreadsheets. 

• Build interactive, scenario-driven “What-If” analysis tools that empower site leads and operational teams to test assumptions and make informed decisions. 

• Ensure insights are intuitive, actionable, and aligned to business needs. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Work closely with engineering, IT, HR, facilities, and operations teams. 

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly narratives for non-technical stakeholders. 

• Act as a trusted data advisor, influencing decisions through evidence-based insights. 

Experience 

• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in:  

• Data analytics 

• Data engineering 

• Data Visualization 

• Advanced Analytics ex. What-of Scenario building

• Business leaders rely on your dashboards and insights to make critical workplace and operational decisions for one of the largest global Tech & AI organization 

• Real-time occupancy and utilization data is trusted, accurate, and actionable. 

• Complex datasets are transformed into clear stories that drive measurable outcomes. 

Mandatory skill sets:

 Required Technical Skills 

• Strong expertise in SQL for analytics and reporting - with Big Query / PLX 

• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (logical and physical) for Business Intelligence 

• Proven ability in statistical analysis and problem-solving 

• Experience building and managing scalable data pipelines including real time API based and IoT Data ingestion 

Preferred skill sets:

Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence and visualization tools such as:  

• Tableau 

• Google Data Studio 

• PLX (or similar platforms) 

• Exposure to IoT data, real-time analytics, or streaming data pipelines is a strong plus. 

• Curiosity-driven mindset with a passion for improving decision-making through data. 

• Working from client office- mostly - at Bangalore
