What you'll build

 

• Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP HANA–based data platforms across ECS, enabling reliable and efficient data foundations.
• Lead critical initiatives including POCs, system architectures, migrations, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• Build and enhance automation-driven, intelligent data operations using AI/ML to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Develop, onboard, and evolve cloud services and solutions within the ECS portfolio.
• Support business continuity and resiliency strategies (e.g., HADR), ensuring highly available and scalable SAP environments.
• Define and document processes for new solutions and continuously improve existing operations.
• Partner across technical and business teams to deliver analytics, insights, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot escalations and deliver timely resolutions for complex technical and functional issues.

 

What you bring

 

• 10+ years of experience in SAP HANA database administration, data management, and enterprise application environments.
• Deep expertise in SAP HANA internals, performance tuning, system replication, scale-out systems, and extension technologies (NSE, extension nodes, dynamic tiering).
• Strong programming/scripting skills (SQLScript plus Python, Shell, or Perl).
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) within managed services environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP architecture, including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Basis, and NetWeaver.
• Experience with integration technologies (e.g., SAP Data Intelligence, CPI, SDI/SDA/SDS, BODS).
• Proven ability to lead complex projects, perform root cause analysis, and resolve critical system.
