Summary

 

We are looking for experienced Network Solution (IT Architecture Specialist) to support our technology and innovation Project portfolio and Service developments at global scale and high growth pace.

 

What you'll build

 

As a Cloud Network Specialist you have the chance to shape and contribute to the overall SAP Private Cloud Services strategy, delivered to our customers via RISE with SAP offering.

You will execute hands-on technical engineering exercises to drive Project portfolio and Service enablement activities in highly complex business environment.

You will consult Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Architectural activities based on direct customer or Portfolio demand. Due to the central nature of the team, you will have many touchpoints and good collaboration skills are required as you will be a key contributor in nurturing the technological progress in SAP.

 

What you bring

 

5 to 9 years of experience with strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge to adapt and learn quickly in a changing environment.
Knowledge on different types of cloud networking and other cloud native services in public clouds.
Network Infrastructure knowledge on public cloud like Azure, AWS or GCP – certification or existing experience in GCP domain / area is a plus.
Experience with different types of Data Center Networking Solution (Switching and Routing protocols, LAN and WAN solutions,  Security on different OSI layers, Load Balancing, DNS, NAT, IPv4, IPv6, etc.)

Experience in SAP applications running on SAP-supported databases Is a plus.

Fluency in English.

 

Tech you bring.

 

Hyperscaler subject matter expertise within Networking area, conceptual understanding of different deployment models, experience with concepts of zonal, regional deployments and other high resilient deployment options, Architecture knowledge on OS level – Linux / Unix - SUSE , RHEL – certification is a plus. Knowledge and former experience with any 3rd party Network solutions (F5, Checkpoint, etc.) in cloud Environment is a plus.

What different industry vertical requirements means to shape of Technical Roadmap development and execution. How we are delivering Private cloud services in ECS via defined automation tool chain and how we are transforming this tool chain. You’ll work in direct collaboration with Hyperscaler Engineering teams on state-of-the-art technology projects empowering our customers to use the latest innovations.
