JOB PURPOSE

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Senior QA Engineer I for Mainframe Agile testing team with a well-defined customized software Test life cycle process.

• Should be able to understand technical and functional requirements. SIT test scenarios covered should be exhaustive.

• Follow STLC standards’ review process to be followed and quality of the deliverables needs to be met.

• Communicate/Collaborate onshore/offshore team members with respect deliverables.

• Flexible to extend work hours as per project demand (Sometimes during weekends)

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

We are looking for experienced and ambitious Senior QA Engineer for our End-to-End teams who will be responsible for below tasks.

• Attending requirement walkthrough session and pass the same to entire team

• Preparing and reviewing test planning documents

• writing and reviewing test cases, test data set up, test environments, and structure to organize various tests.

• Should hold good understanding on WGS applications and E2E Testing.

• Setting up the test environment to meet entry criteria and capturing performance validations to enhance the quality of the systems and applications.

• Test case execution and defect reporting

• Defect retest and regression testing

• Reviewing all the testing artifacts within Team and test closure activities to meet exit criteria.

• To do quality audits for all the teams to ensure process compliance.

• Assisting offshore team in technical issues resolution and providing clarifications

• Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.

• Communicate/Collaborate onshore. Offshore team members with respect to deliverables and team building.

• Able to handle the things Independently and should lead the initiatives whenever required.

• Keeping the application information document and other application related trailing materials up to date.

• Maintain knowledge repositories.

• Flexible in extending work hours as per project demand (Sometimes during weekends)

• Soft skill to gel with the team and involve in team building activities.

• Attend and discuss daily work/impediments in daily SCRUM calls

• Good to have testing related certification.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical education

EXPERIENCE

• Extensive experience in Mainframe skills COBOL, DB2, JCL. SQL,CICS screen 5 +  years of Strong QA testing experience Strong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills required.

• Must have Elevance Healthcare domain experience and system experience in Enrollment & Billing(WGS/ISG), WGS Claims, Finance systems and Customer centric Portal’s knowledge.

• Extensive experience in both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Safe agile Should hold good understanding on WGS applications and E2E Testing.

• Having automation Knowledge is an added advantage.

• Should have hands on experience in Batch and Online testing.

• Effective Organizational, time-Management and decision-making skills Expert analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to oversee defects and result validation.
