 Roles & responsibilities 
Role Overview : The Workflow/Data Mining Solution Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, deployment, and operational stability of Workflow Mining and Data Mining solutions within the KPMG application/tool (KPMG tool Workflow) ecosystem. The role partners closely with Business SMEs, Engineering teams (Orion, Product, D&A Architecture), and external vendors to drive scalable, secure, high performing workflow analytics and mining capabilities.
The professional will be responsible for:
Responsibility
Lead end to end solutioning for Workflow and Data Mining components within KPMG application/tool, aligning with supported architectures (PaaS/SaaS, Databricks, Synapse, ADF)
Work closely with Business, Vendor team and architects to integrate workflow analytics, sampling, and financial statement modules.
Own technical requirement gathering, feasibility review, solution blueprinting, and deployment planning.
Ensure all solutions adhere to KPMG application/tool platform strategy, governance, and security controls.
Develop and maintain Azure SQL, ADLS Gen2, ADF pipelines, and SHIR configurations.
Create, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL pipelines for complex engagement datasets.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for KPMG application/tool data engineering assets.
Monitor and optimize Databricks workloads and SQL warehouses.
Gain functional expertise across Workflow Mining, Sampling, and FSB modules.
Support analysis, mining logic validation, engagement data interpretation, and exception logic.
Review application flows, identify improvement areas, and collaborate with design teams for enhancements.
Support validation efforts leveraging workflow mining enablement from architecture documents 
Understanding of Log Analytics, Alerts, Monitoring setup
Understanding of Security controls, vulnerability resolution
Understanding of KPMG application/tool (Workflow Mining, Sampling, FSB)
Familiarity with PaaS-based mining architecture

Development Support -

Maintaining the accurate and up to date project status for self and any assigned team member.
Prepare and review required documents supporting the project with utmost attention to details.
Implement and maintain monitoring dashboards using Log Analytics, alerts, KPIs, and workflow health indicators.
Troubleshoot data ingestion failures, workflow errors, and performance issues.
Work directly with the security team to resolve findings and ensure KPMG application/tool assets meet global security standards.
On time delivery of enhancements and deployments
Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, module transition guides, and enhancement proposals.
Ensure that effective project control, change control, risk management and testing processes are maintained
Identify automation, workflow optimization, and performance enhancement opportunities
Support Proof of Concept initiatives

Lead projects –

Lead / participate in firm’s strategic initiatives and/or corporate social responsibility programs
Experience working in leading audit firms with proven project management skills — managing teams on multiple projects in client-facing roles
Drive ideas related to efficiencies, compliance and projects
Sound understanding of various internal frameworks and guidelines; ensuring adherence of self and team

 Education Requirements
B. Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology) OR 
MBA (Systems/ IT/Finance/ Data & Analytics/ SCM) along with Engineering (Computer Science, IT) OR
MCA (Master’s in Computer Applications)
