Our Team, Your Impact

The Sr. Application Developer / Mgr. Business Application will provide E2E support of Data project Lifecycle (Acquire, Organize, Analyze and Deliver) including Big Data projects and participate in the implementation of new Data platform solutions and tools.  Should also be able to work with the team to manage the requests/deliverables/support etc.
The Commercial Solutions Delivery Lead will be responsible for end to end delivery of the Commercial Data Lake on Microsoft Azure, supporting pharma commercial use cases including sales operations, CRM, omnichannel engagement, patient services, forecasting, and advanced analytics.
This role bridges business strategy, data platform architecture, and delivery execution, ensuring that commercial data products are scalable, governed, compliant, and analytics ready. The role will partner closely with Commercial, Analytics, CRM, Data Science, Enterprise Architecture, and external vendors to deliver high impact data solutions.
Work with the team and Business Stakeholders on a development and support activities with US Sales and Commercial Operations team.  The role will collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline workflows, ensure proper data integration, provide on-going communication. Support CDW operations including integrations with CRM, MDM, Multichannel Marketing, and Third Party Systems.  Develop and Configure new Integrations and processes as needed.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

•    Own delivery leadership for the Azure based Commercial Data Lake, from design through production.
•    Drive implementation across ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and consumption layers.
•    Ensure alignment with commercial priorities (sales, marketing, omni channel, patient engagement).
•    Translate commercial business needs into scalable data platform capabilities.
•    Serve as the primary delivery contact for Commercial stakeholders.
•    Manage relationships with Azure, integration, and analytics vendors.
•    Balance scope, timelines, risk, and quality across multiple delivery streams.
•    Provide clear executive level communication on progress, risks, and outcomes.
•    E2E support of Data project Lifecycle (Acquire, Organize, Analyze and Deliver).
•    Define, innovate and shape the architecture for new data products / features.
•    Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
•    Hands on work on core Data platforms and tools
•    Analyze & translate functional specifications /user stories into technical specifications.
•    Willing and enthusiastic to learn new technologies/tools.
•    Work individually, with minimal supervision as well as in team environments and work well with people within and outside team members.
•    Develop processes to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of incentive compensation functions
•    Provide data research, investigation, and analysis to resolve issues and inform operational decisions
•    Support and implement Sales Planners’  initiatives across multiple Brands and Sales Forces
•    Maintain and monitor CDW data and processes. Report on data quality and process performance
•    Work with Internal and external partners to maintain the CDW technical platform’s integrity and performance
•    Meet all defined requirements of the Requests or Projects 
•    Manage Service Requests and Projects from design to implementation
•    Automate data, application processes to drive process improvement
•    Provide regular project updates to business analysts and management as needed.
•    Communicate issues, risks, and concerns proactively to management

Your Skills and Experience

Education and Knowledge Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 8+ years relevant experience
•    Minimum 3 years of experience as a Developer; minimum 4 years of experience as a Senior Developer
•    Minimum 3 years of experience developing SQL. DataBricks/DataLke experience required
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in working with cross-functional teams preferred
•    Demonstrated experience in project estimation and planning.
•    Pharma Commercial Data Knowledge and experience required

Skills and Capabilities
•    Python, Pyspark, SQL and a good understanding of ML libraries.
•    Expertise in Azure and its services such as Azure Databricks, Azure DataFactory, Azure Devops etc.
•    Knowledge of CI/CD principles
•    Good understanding and working knowledge with API/web service security and data security practices and methods.
•    Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) 
•    Strong Excel and SQL database skills are required, DataBricks/DataLake experience required
•    Excellent collaboration, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and using good business judgment
•    Ability to be flexible set priorities, and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment for self and team
•    Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution recommendation
•    Experience working in AWS or Azure Cloud environments 
•    Data Analysis, Engineering, Data integration expertise
•    Good organization and time management skills
•    Proficiency with MS Office tools and applications
•    Familiarity with development and integration technologies such as TOAD, SQL Developer, DB Visualizer, Power Center, Snap Logic, etc. 
Shift Requirement
•    Working in USA East Coast Time Zone Shift
