Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or Software as a Service solutions. This includes managing the configuration, overseeing integrations with various systems, and coordinating release activities. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards to ensure the solution remains stable and performs optimally while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive the evolution of the platform is a key aspect of daily responsibilities.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with cloud-based data processing and analytics environments.
- Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and release management processes.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software solutions within packaged or Software as a Service frameworks.
- Familiarity with platform performance tuning and stability assurance methods.
